Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position serving K-12 students in Okeechobee, FL. The role is a contract position for the current school year designed to provide essential speech and language support in an educational setting. This position offers the chance to work closely with students across a variety of grade levels, helping them improve communication skills and succeed academically.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate records of all therapy sessions and evaluations
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to program planning and development
• Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines related to speech-language pathology in schools

Qualifications:

• Active Florida licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is required
• Experience working with school-aged children from K-12
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to manage a caseload and schedule efficiently
• Commitment to supporting the academic and social development of students with speech and language disorders
