Inspect, service, install, perform maintenance on, fire alarm systems in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.\nNature of Position\nThis position reports to the Fire Alarm Manager or their designated Agent. The Technician will be responsible for providing inspections, installations, and service on a variety of fire alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals.

The Technician will work with the Company to obtain local city listing agents. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers and customers.\nJob Responsibilities\n\nManage their time to complete the maximum amount of service, inspection, and installation calls while maintaining a high level of quality.\nAchieve any weekly productivity goals assigned by the Fire Alarm Manager or designated Agent.\nLearn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing.\nProtect and maintain company equipment.\nWork in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.\nMaintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized.\n\nJob Requirements\n\nApplicable licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.\nPrior fire alarm installation and Service experience is required.\nAbility to learn applicable installation, inspection, and servicing codes.\nAbility to participate in on-call rotation.\nAbility to perform physical activities outlined in the accompanying physical requirements checklist.\nA strong work ethic and professional appearance.\nExcellent communications, and customer service skills.\nAbility to fit in with our culture of teamwork.\nAbility and desire to mentor and pass on knowledge to all levels of trainees.\nAbility to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.\nPossess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.\n\n
