Job Title : Editorial Aide
The Advocate is looking for a part-time editorial assistant to work with our Opinion page content. This is an entry-level position for someone who has a sincere interest in opinion journalism and can assist with a variety of initiatives. We need a highly organized and motivated individual who can learn about our systems quickly. This person would be responsible for inputting content such as letters and guest columns into our CMS, acting as a liaison with the copy desk for our print product, and working with our digital team for optimization of our online content. Additional duties could include proofreading, administrative tasks such as filling out invoices and keeping up with department calendars and more.
