These past months have been nothing short of transformative. I’ve navigated through a maze of challenging academic and professional experiences that have not only broadened my understanding of the business world but also pushed the boundaries of my academic prowess. Balancing the demands of academics and work life was undeniably tough, but I view it as an invaluable learning curve, one I’m truly grateful for.
Through this journey, I’ve come to realize that to unlock new opportunities on this path, one must be willing to reinvent themselves. I’ve had the privilege of working in two diverse sectors – energy and broadband/internet infrastructure services, taking on roles in Energy sales Advisory and technical support respectively.
The joy of reuniting with friends and celebrating with my awesome ECO colleagues made it a perfect occasion to unwind, exploring my first North East party I couldn’t resist trying out my newly acquired (though far from perfect) Mackem accent, a playful nod to the locals of Sunderland.
Through all of these experiences, I’ve come to understand that amidst the pursuit of success, it’s essential to allocate moments for happiness and enjoyment.
If it’s fast and cheap, it will never be good. If it’s cheap and good, it will never work out quickly. And if it is good and fast, it will never come cheap. But remember: of the three you still have to always choose two.
Think about the content that you want to invest in a created object, and only then will form. The thing is your spirit. A spirit unlike forms hard copy.
I love the feel and sophistication of its superiority. I like people with a keen mind and at the same time easy to talk to.
